⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Florida Keys Gem!

Buzzard’s Roost is exactly the kind of place we love finding in the Florida Keys! 🌴🦜🌊 Tucked away on the water with boats passing by, palm trees, tropical landscaping and that laid-back Keys atmosphere, it has so much character.

The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. The seafood platter was fantastic — fresh ceviche, shrimp, smoked fish dip and all the extras made it perfect for sharing. 🦐🐟🍋

We also loved learning a little about the history of Garden Cove and Buzzard’s Roost. Places like this are what make the Keys so special — great food, interesting history, beautiful surroundings and absolutely no need to rush.

Even our four-legged companion enjoyed the visit! 🐾❤️

If you’re traveling through Key Largo and want to get away from the typical tourist spots and enjoy some true Florida Keys atmosphere, put Buzzard’s Roost on your list. Great food, waterfront views, relaxed vibes and plenty of Keys charm.

We will definitely be back! 🌴🌊

We were on our way out of the keys and my fiance found this wonderful hidden gem. The food was really good we had the seafood sampler appetizer that had smoked fish dip, ceviche snapper and peel and eat shrimp. It was amazing and so was the service.

Stopped by The Buzzard’s Roost for lunch and had such a great experience. Alanna was absolutely fantastic—friendly, attentive, personable, and genuinely made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. Great atmosphere and exceptional service; Alanna is the kind of server who turns a simple lunch into an experience that makes you want to come back. Five stars!

We ate there a couple different times both times the food. The service the drinks were all on point
They are exceptional in what they offer
If you are looking for a good middle keys, dining experience buzzards roost is a good place to drop in on service is great. Views are wonderful. Food is very tasty and flavorful. It's worth a visit

We brought a group of 20 people to Buzzard’s Roost, and I can honestly say it was one of the best group dining experiences we’ve ever had. We organize group dinners regularly, and the staff here absolutely exceeded our expectations.

They seated our entire group incredibly quickly, and the service was some of the fastest and most efficient we’ve experienced without ever making us feel rushed. Our servers, Libby and Alley, were outstanding, attentive, and super organized. The Manager Greg also made a point to check on us and ensure everything was set up perfectly and that our group was well taken care of.

The food was absolutely incredible from start to finish, and every person in our group had a fantastic experience. Exceptional service, amazing food, and outstanding hospitality. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in Key Largo. Highly recommend!

I love this place and as a local, my family and I like to try different places out. The food was amazing and our server Andrew was amazing!!!!! I definitely suggest this place to go and eat. It’s such a cute place with good vibes. Plus they have the cutest bar.
I also prefer the strawberry daiquiris compared to other places. We sat at table 32 outside and we had a good view!

What a great find! Our server, Bobby was wonderful.

We had the ceviche, shrimp basket and blackened Mahi fish tacos.

Ceviche was fresh, just the right amount of lemon and seasoning. Delicious 😋

Shrimp were lightly battered and plumb.

But the Mahi tacos were amazing. Flavorful and plenty of crunch and fish.

Highly recommend making a trip if you are in the area.

Driving from Naples to Key West, made a stop at BR for lunch. Delicious food. Enough of a variety on menu to make it difficult to make a choice. Dit outside, we had a manatee visit us. Waitress forgot about us a couple of times and my wife had red onions in her salad even tho asked for none. (This could have been kitchen error). Other than this, it wss a great lunch. Excellent key lime pie.

Absolutely wonderful waterfront restaurant! Perfect way to start our Keys vacation with lunch with 8 of us. Indoor seating, covered outdoor seating, indoor bar and smaller outside Tiki Bar. Joins a marina and sits in a beautiful canal. The only reason I’m giving service a 4 is because the hostess seemed miserable doing her job. She wasn’t nasty, just wasn’t very welcoming, friendly or personable. There was a line waiting out the door and there were plenty of open tables. But she was moving at a snails pace to get everyone seated. Our waitress was wonderful, great big personality and made our lunch with our group very enjoyable. Food was delicious and so were the cocktails. Several of us had the BLT shrimp wrap, one had a chicken Caesar wrap, 1 had broiled seafood platter, 1 had fried seafood platter. We had smoked fish dip and onion straws. Everything was fresh, hot & delicious!
